Oracle Academy

The Oracle Academy, the global institute for Technology Provider partnered with Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally to train students of 21st century and to provide teachers with world-class training and professional development opportunities. The Computer Applications department along with Oracle Academy have been providing on-line training and online conferences for the students and teaching community. It is beneficial to students as well as academicians to gear up their knowledge and technical expertise. For the last 5 years more than 1500 students were attending online courses (Programming with SQL and Java Programming) and those who successfully completed the courses were awarded with the certificates from Oracle Academy. Students who undertake the Oracle training will gain opportunities in learning technical, business and analytical skills as well.

Main Courses

Two online courses are offered
1. Database design and programming with SQL
2. Java Fundamentals and Programming with Alice 3 and Greenfoot

Online conferences

The conference mainly focused on the topics of latest technologies .It was highly informative and interactive session, covering our expectations and more. The conference was really an eye opener for us. We the faculty are raring to use the new knowledge and skills in our teaching and lectures for the benefit of our students. We are proud to associate with Oracle Academy in enhancing our technical skills and knowledge.

PREREQUISITE

  • Basic computer knowledge
In virtual training, participants must follow these instructions:

  • Follow the syllabus and learn the topics
  • Complete the recommended quizzes for the specified week for better understanding of the topics
  • Quizzes can be taken multiple times
  • The system stores the highest passing score
  • Complete the recommended practice assignments to confirm the mastery of the topics
  • There will be a final exam for registered candidates, those who secure a minimum pass mark (60%) or above will be awarded with a certificate. They will be having a maximum of three attempts for passing the exam
