Introduction

As the world progresses into an advanced digital era, technologies that expand the possibilities of human thinking, creation, and experience are in high demand. The combined technologies of Augmented and Virtual Reality are highly effective in building custom end-to-end solutions across all spheres of life.

The Next Reality Lab enables students to study and gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies — including AR, VR, and Robotics. The lab is equipped with the latest VR headsets, Hologram Displays, Industrial Arms, Humanoid robots, and Robotic Kits. It acts as an innovation cell where students can develop ideas into products under the mentorship of Infusory Future Tech Labs.

📷 Augmented Reality (AR)
Augmented Reality

AR overlays digital content and information onto the physical world — creating a feeling of mutual existence. It opens new ways for devices to be helpful throughout the day by letting users experience digital content the same way they experience the world. AR can put answers right where the questions are by overlaying visual, immersive content on top of one's real world.

🆕 Virtual Reality (VR)
Virtual Reality

VR is a computer-generated simulation of an alternate world or reality — primarily used in 3D movies, video games, training, education, and science. VR creates immersive simulations using computers and sensory equipment such as headsets and gloves, enabling deep experiential learning beyond traditional methods.

As the first such facility in Kerala among self-financing colleges, the Next Reality Lab aims at empowering all stakeholders in future technologies. The NR Lab upskills engineering graduates to make them competent and industry-relevant for applicable sectors.
