About Amal Jyothi College of Engineering
Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally, was founded in 2001 with a long term goal of creating an engineering township to uplift the rural community. The College is managed by the Diocese of Kanjirappally and is steered by a governing body comprising senior scientists, engineers and renowned academicians. The College is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum. It enjoys accreditation by NAAC (A Grade) and is equipped with state-of-the art facilities for teaching, training, project work, research and consultancy.
ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2001 and offers a B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics), 2 M. Tech (Power Electronics & Power Systems, Energy Systems) and PhD programmes. The department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) until 2023. It is staffed by professionally qualified and highly experienced faculty members and is well equipped with modern laboratories.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department (Accredited by NBA) of Amal Jyothi college of Engineering is organizing a Five Day online FDP on Biomedical Instrumentation- Research Challenges.
Significance
This FDP aims to impart knowledge in recent trends in biomedical instrumentation for disease diagnosis, therapeutic planning and enhancement of programming skill in processing of bio signals and medical images.
Objectives
- Recent trends in biomedical instrumentation and research challenges.
- Processing of medical images and bio signals and improving the computer aided programming skill.
Registration
The FDP is being conducted under the aegis of the AICTE-ATAL scheme. Hence registration fees are not applicable. e-Certificates will be issued for active participants only. Last Date for Registration – 20th Aug 2020.
