Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering — a leading learning and research centre in the emerging domains of Computer Science, with a proud legacy of excellence since 2001.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in 2001 and has grown steadily into one of the largest and most sought-after departments in Kerala's engineering ecosystem.

The first batch graduates of the CSE department came out with wonderful results — 95% pass in the year 2005 — a standard that has been maintained throughout all these years.

Our growth story

The growth of CSE at Amal Jyothi has been steady and deliberate — matching industry demand while maintaining academic rigour:

The Department trains future educators, researchers and engineers through an intensely personal engagement in a set of research activities — spanning the development of fundamental knowledge about computational processes, the design of new computing systems and methods, and the creation of novel applications that benefit society at large.

The emphasis on interdisciplinary research facilitates engagement with departments across the College and promotes novel uses of information technology across a wide range of disciplines.

With its highly qualified faculty members, the department is set to continue as a leading learning and research centre in the emerging domains of Computer Science & Engineering — from Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to Cyber Security and Cloud Computing.
