Department Library
The Department of Mechanical Engineering (Automobile) Library is a specialized resource center dedicated to supporting the academic and research needs of students, faculty, and researchers in the field of automobile engineering. The library offers a wide range of materials, including textbooks, reference books, journals, research papers, periodicals and industry-related publications, all tailored to the automotive industry and engineering advancements. The library also provides access to digital databases, e-books, and online journals, ensuring up-to-date information for users. The collection covers various subjects such as vehicle design, automotive technology, mechanical systems, electrical systems in vehicles, and sustainable transport solutions.
Department Library – Rules
- Books shall be issued to the students and staff between 4.00 – 4.30.
- Silence should be maintained in the library by all users.
- The issue period is for 30 days. The user can re-issue the book for one more month.
- A fine of Rs. 5 /- per day shall be charged against each book not returned within the due date.
- Only books in the ‘issue-section’ will be issued to the students.
