The Department of Mechanical Engineering Automobile is committed to creating world-class professionals, leaders, and administrators. Automobile Association of Amal Jyothi (AAA) is an initiative of the Dept. of AUE to inspire students to develop their inborn talents.
As part of AAA, the department organises academic and co-curricular activities like invited talks, industrial visits & tours, project exhibitions — with the mission to provide a platform for aspirants of automobile engineering to learn, discover, create, rebuild, and make the world even better.
The Dept. of Mechanical Engineering Automobile was initially functioning in coordination with the parent Mechanical Engineering Department. As the department became full-fledged, it was separated in July 2011. To strengthen student activities, the Automobile Association of Amal Jyothi (AAA) was proposed.
AAA activities were formally launched on March 11, 2013 by Mr. Shaji Mathew (Director – Customer Service, Volvo India Pvt Ltd). The inaugural function was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. Jose Kannampuzha, Principal, AJCE. Prof. K. Vijayan, HoD, formally released the AAA logo.
