Alumni Association of Amal Jyothi (AAAJ)

The Association of Amal Jyothi Alumni (AAJA) was founded in 2005 and was registered under Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955. The AAJA was renamed as AAAJ and is registered as a trust in May 2023. The following are the objectives:

  1. To promote a life-long relationship and act as a forum for exchanging information with the members. Also, provide opportunities for the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering alumni, Kanjirapally, to contact their Alma Mater and fellow alumni/ present students.
  2. To inspire and empower students and alumni by exchanging professional knowledge and organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, and training programs by eminent Alumni and other stakeholders.
  3. To contribute towards strengthening entrepreneurship development activities, campus placements, library, and centers of excellence at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally
  4. To organize and establish scholarship funds to help the needy and deserving students
  5. To create interest and motivate the alumni to participate in the progress and development of the Institution. Also, allow them to contribute towards the enhancement of their Alma matter and collect funds for improving the infrastructure of the college
  6. To serve as an agency for creating healthy public opinion about the College.
  7. To conduct lectures, discussions, and benefit performance of educative value on current and relevant topics.
  8. To do all the other things of academic interest and not repugnant to the spirit of this constitution.
  9. To honor the old students in whatever walks of life.
  10. To develop industry institute interaction through alumni members.
  11. To improve placement opportunities for fellow alumni and fresh graduates.
  12. To do any other activity as decided by the General Body

The Objectives of Association are as follows:

  • Serve as a forum to foster relationship, networking and alliances among the alumni, the present students, the staff and the management of AJCE
  • Bring together the alumni on a common platform for organizing activities and programs
  • Actively and constructively contribute to the alma mater as a fraternity of global ambassadors
  • Recognize distinguished alumni through awards and honours
  • Keep the alumni informed of the growth and development of the institution.
  • Serve as a forum striving to get a proper blending of the theoretical and practical aspects of engineering.
  • Help the students get acquainted with the alumni for professional excellence
  • Launch initiatives that will be mutually beneficial between the institution, the alumni and the students
